We’re pleased to welcome you to this dedicated website for colleagues transferring to ISS. Here you’ll find key information, dates and updates to support you through the change.

A Message from Alistair Dale, Angela Walton and Lisa McGhie

We’re delighted to confirm that ISS has been selected to deliver a new and expanded integrated facilities management contract for Newcastle College Group.

As the contract expands across all seven colleges, we’re looking forward to welcoming new colleagues to ISS and bringing everyone together as one team.

​

Key Dates

• Phase 1 – 2 November 2026: Newcastle College, Newcastle Sixth Form College, Carlisle College and West Lancashire College.

• Phase 2 – 8 March 2027: Kidderminster College, Lewisham College and Southwark College.

​

ISS will deliver a range of facilities management services, including maintenance, cleaning, helpdesk support, grounds and winter services, waste management, portering, pest control, minor works and specialist support.

​

If you work in one of these service areas, your role may transfer to ISS under TUPE regulations. Your current employer will have confirmed that this applies to you.

​

Town Hall Sessions

We are hosting 'Town Hall' sessions across various locations so that we can meet transferring employees and share a presentation about the change means. If you missed the sessions and would like to see the slides, click here.

After the sessions, we’ll arrange individual meetings to discuss the change and answer any further questions. To find out what to expect at your 1:1 and what to bring, click here.

We know that change can bring questions. During the TUPE process, updates will be shared through the agreed channels: this website, collective consultation meetings, one-to-one meetings and NCGTUPE@uk.issworld.com.
